Amway cup results

great 8 by chou down the rail with the pressure on, chou rolls the 9 ball in chou is the champion, unlucky karen

Sad for Karen, for whom I was rooting, but to Chou, I'll say well played.

Lin, Rubilen, and now Chao ...... there's always an under the radar Asian that plays jam up.

My fingers are crossed. Karen Corr has reached the double hill rack of the world championships twice already in her career. Each time she came up short. Hoping today is her day!

Just a reminder this is not the WPC.

GYK always said there were "lots" of girls that play her speed in Taiwan and it's proven every time they have a tourny there.

NEW RECORD IN LADIES 9-BALL POOL!
Yuan-Chun Lin broke and ran out 6 consecutive racks but missed 6-ball in the seventh rack. (Lin's opponent was Japanese Yukiko Oi, formerly Yukiko Hamanishi)

That started out as an easy run out, but she really messed up the shape on the seven ball. The triple tough shot was the eight ball down the rail. And she was looking right at Karen. I noticed the referee had a clock in his hand that he referred to several times. If they were on a shot clock, it must have been TWO MINUTES. She took over a minute on the opening three ball and longer on the seven.

Nice to see them using Gold Crown V's over there. These are probably being manufactured in Shanghai. TRUE!
