An intoduction... The Aiminator

Weren't you creating a pool academy 10 years ago?

No, I just started it this year in earnest. I have been talking about it for years which is why I have been collecting and creating training aids the non-profit registered and just looking to either find a building to house the pool room on one side and the academy on the other or try to do it in the pool room. Then just have to do the bylaws, membership rates and put in a system for the administration. I want to do it really right and have it be self-sustaining so that I don't have to be the linchpin to keep it running. I was going to do it in my pool room but the layout isn't really conducive to a dedicated training facility.

Good luck, hope you are able to get it going.

I have found out this kind of stuff takes a bunch of time. Still working on getting the first set boxed under 4oz. Thank you for all your patience.

I am here... Sorry I have not responded. Pretty much with the holidays and I am building a taper bar for my cue lathe this was back burnered. I will do what I can this weekend to box up a few of them and will be open for orders.

Do you have an email? I’m still interested in one and don’t want to lose touch with you again.

That mention was more for the earlier days of what has become azbilliards. I have known the old school members from the rec.sport.billiards and alt.sport.pool days when my handle was sscs. I don't view AZbilliards as an entity. It is where everybody arrived when the old locations closed.
Ouch!!!

Just as a side note…….would you list the website mentioned for building a pool table?
i would suppose you have contact info there we could order from, yes?

I have 6 of them packaged up. I will be creating more during this week. 1 is already spoken for because the person getting it was the one who pushed me to get them ready.

I have the weight and box size where usps says I can ship them for around 5 bucks. So I will be pricing them for $20 shipping included. Still way cheaper than a Rempe ball. :D

I have a few requests in my DMs so I will be hitting those first.

Again thank you for all the interest!

For those of you that purchased the Aiminator I thought it would be easier just a post here how to use it here versus sending each an individual message.

The parts you received allows you to
build 2 different configurations.

The first being a strip down version to use only the boundry indicators.

The second has a shot pointer.

To use the one with the pointer pick a point on the table and align the hole in the pointer with that point by looking down through the hole in the top.

Next aim the pointer towards your target for the object ball.
1000004961.png

Place the object ball on the table directly underneath the pointer and in line
With the object ball locator.

Now place the Q Ball
perpendicular to the Aiminator.

Take the shot with any style of English, draw or follow you want.

If the shot is hit perfectly neither one of the boundry indicators will move. And the shot will go in the direction of the pointer. The T on the back of the pointer shows the tangent line of the cueballs path after contact.

Again if you have any questions please let me know.
