An ugly 41

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to put together a good run on video in a while so I thought I would post this very ugly 41 ball run (I think there is a 3 rail jump kick in there somewhere)... :):):)

I keep thinking I should post more videos, but then I don't because I'm never very happy with them. Maybe I'll just start posting them anyways... if nothing more than to aim higher.

May the force be with you,

Thanks for posting it Tom.

it doesnt take a super large run to try to participate, there is something to learn in a run of any size.

we are all in this together, for the same ultimate goal...you are in good hands here, we are all here to help each other along the way !

i just watched the first rack and a half and i found that when you were stting up for your breakshot, you drew back off the ball in the side. you should of stopped or went forward an inch or so. This way you have a better cut angle into the rack and you would of gotten a better scatter from less loss of energy to due changing the angle and momentum being lost on the draw.

i will watch the rest later and give some more updates on what i find !

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the tip. I remember trying to actually do a stop shot on that side pocket shot, but I actually ended up drawing the rock unintentionally. You're correct... a little more of an angle would have definitely been preferable.

BTW, I think you have me confused with BigRig Tom. I'm BigCat (aka. Ray Robles) :):)

Any kind of 41 on a Diamond is a good run. You are a very good shot maker. One mistake in shot selection at 11:30 got you off track. The ball you chose to shoot led to knocking the only breakball you had into the rail and you still did not get a real good shot after that. Nice job on getting into the next rack though. Keep posting those videos.

Hey Bill,

Thanks for watching. I know exactly where in the video you are talking about. Instead of shooting that shot you mention, I should have taken off that 2 ball up on the side rail (which I later ended up having to bank)... and this would have kept that good break ball in position... I honestly thought I could just brush it.

Looking back at the video, it's very clear where I went wrong in my pattern choice in the 3rd rack... which I also think ultimately led to the end of the run in the 4th rack. Crazy how this game works.

Appreciate the feedback!
