Kawabunga looks awesome.

Yeah dark Cocobolo.
Agreed. Not cocobolo points. More than likely macassar ebony. Plus the grain is nowhere near that of cocobolo.Points are ebony, maybe rosewood. Doesn't look like coco to me. Talking about that Schon. Coco has a lot of red in it. This looks like ebony mostly, possibly a dark rosewood.
No, I'm hoping they send the model with the invoice. Only thing I know about it has been posted here. Early 80s cue is only a guess.
I would send a message to Evan Clarke on Facebook as this cue was made during his time there. It appears to be Ebony to me too.Well Schon says it was built with cocobolo....so. Anyway
The CNC points also point to sometime after 1992ish at the earliest. If the shafts are original, which they probably are, then the cue is post 94. Schon didn’t logo shafts until 93, which have a horizontal logo, where they started with a vertical logo in 94.
Actually the CNC points are standard starting roughly in 87 with a few examples prior to 87. 87-92 are CNC’d Runde era.The CNC points also point to sometime after 1992ish at the earliest.
That is a 93 shaft which came with cues that have nose on the pin.Got this for it today....
