The money's not bad: in 2014 the top ten ranged from around $95,000(10th) to around $500,000(1st). Still nothing compared to golf/tennis but still the highest paying cuesport. I think the travel schedules could be pretty brutal, especially in the current security environment.

That was out of a population of 56 million or so.

Its that simple...,

If you want to play Pool as a profession get a job, its that simple. Plenty of other athletes have to work full time jobs or part time jobs while still participating in a full time professional sport.

There are lots of Americans and others who work two jobs or go to school full time and work at the same time, so it can be done.

For 2017, no more whining about how Pool doesn't pay enough or how you cant make a living at Pool...,

If you love the game, play it and find a way to support what you love.
