I saw that the Deuel/Hatch match from the 2007 Miz Championships went live 5 or 6 days ago but I just didn't have time to watch. I finally set aside some time tonight to watch it & I sure am glad I did. I highly recommend you do the same.

Corey & Dennis were two heavyweights throwing haymakers in the center of the ring. They each pulled off some spectacular shots. What an exciting battle.

Thank you ProPoolVideo for another great example of pro pool. The video quality and production was first-rate.

I've never actually seen a pro shoot the hard reverse english shot Corey pulls off about 8 minutes into the match. Good match overall, that shot was something to remember though.

agreed that was a great shot, i've never seen it before myself.

shame somebody had to lose that one, they both played well. and i love to watch dennis play. a real talent as well.

That was a weird shot, wasn't it? I still can't quite figure it out, but I've learned to never be too surprised at what Corey can do with a cue ball.

We should give these people at ProPoolVideo much support, as with TAR, for putting these videos up (and editing out the non-playing sections).

Yeah it was a brilliant match, just slightly better than the next one with Brumpton and Klein which was brutal, only one break and run out and thats when Brumpton made 4 balls on the break, with that loose table not sure if I could qualify that as a "pro" pool video. But good job to the ppv guys.

I knew what Corey had tried as soon as he hit it since I've played and watched three cushion for years, but its still a rare shot to see.

Basically, he hit the object ball pretty full with a lot of inside english. That make the ball spin even more compared to its roll. When it hits the second rail, it still has plenty of spin to take it on an angle downtable. Its a hard hit because using that much english and predicting the cueball path is very tricky.

Cool shot.
