Another CF question.

I'm watching the 10 ball tournament and lots of CF shafts. Many use gloves. Is this because you need them to play with a CF shaft?.

I think gloves are dorky as can be unless you're a top player, but I decided to try one last Christmas b/c my basement can sometimes be humid. Now I wear a glove & can't see myself going back.

It adds a strong measure of consistency. My hands used to sweat a lot and I used one. Kind of got away from it over the years. Since i now mostly use an open bridge, it is less useful to me.

I think it's more like once you get use to a glove going without it feels "strange". Really don't think you need one with a CF shaft, although I still use one.

i dont use a glove to play.
if my revo starts to feel alittle sticky i wipe it down with a revo wipe and i am good to go

The high Louisiana humidity has a higher percentage of the pool-playing populace wearing gloves than those in the northern tiers. Sometimes you don't have a choice. Also, anatomy has a big say. Some people just sweat more than others and prefer not to use talcum powder. How many pros over 800 Fargo rating wear gloves? I think all of them. I could be wrong.
