This game was played at "Tristrams Billiard Shack" in Dumaguete City featuring dumaguete's young gun "TamTam".

As always, Efren "performs" in his own chariming & gentile way...with a little flash thrown in to wow the crowd. I say "gentile" because he "dogs off" a few shots to make it interesting for his young adversary.

I can't believe he missed that easy 9-ball, just to slop it in up table.

*Sigh* Just another sad reminder of how much Efren's skills have eroded. i wonder how much he lost to the kid.

Didn't you watch the video? He got lucky and won. Kid wanted to double the bet but Efren made some excuse about a dental appointment. Damn pros always quitting winner.

He two rail banked that by design.

Whenever Efren is in "entertainment" mode, especially in some small bar or pool hall in the Philippines, he does stuff like that because he knows it will stirr the crowd up.

I've seen him do that many, many, times. I think he even did that against Tony Crosby or somebody last year at WPC when the match result didn't matter.

Of course with the new format you'll never see him do that in the WPC again but, believe me, he was just having fun!

That was a wild scene. You won't get that in the pool rooms I go to. Imagine the action in that place.

Efren's stature in the Philippines is larger than any American player in this country. People who don't know anything about pool will show up just to see him play.

Minnesota Fats had that kind of stature in the US back in the day. Everybody knew who Minnesota Fats was.
