I had the extreme honor of playing about three hours of pool with my great friend, Jimmy Reid today at a poolhall not too far from his house. Jimmy offered to meet me as a favor for the help I have been giving him selling his quality instructional dvd set. I tell you, there isn't a finer gentleman on the planet than Jimmy. After over five years of virtual inactivity and being the frail man that he is now, I have never seen a player move the cueball so effortlessly and with so much control. He still pulls off some shots that leave me wanting to see a whole lot more. Table lenght draw shots with absolute control looked too easy. I never wanted the session to end but Jimmy ran out of stamina. Jimmy showed me quite a few new systems he has been working on for future dvds and let me tell you; if you are willing to do your homework and study these systems and adapt them to the table you are playing on and your stroke habits, there are few times you can't get out of a seemingly unmanagable safety. His stuff really works. We set up about thirty senarios and got out of all of them. Jimmy Reid is definately living out his mission God put him on this Earth to accomplish.
