If those are real veneers and a solid stainless steel joint its still got some value. Either sell it as an unknown on ebay or have it reworked and refinished to your liking. That finish looks a little thick and gummy.

Most veneered unknowns on ebay bring between 150-250. I've moved a few in that price range in the last year.

When I see varnish (or whatever finish) on the shaft.....
....I stop looking.

Don't know what it is but wouldn't mind bidding on it if it came up--might be something I can turn into a player for my son--with a good shaft made for it.
