Welcome Tom!!!
Isn't Peter Griffin the main character on Family Guy?

That's the same reply my son gave me when I mentioned Peter's name. I guess it's a generation thing. I'm also a fan of the show now.

Welcome Tom.

Hope you will enjoy your stay here. I am pretty sure you will. Most of the leaving this site do it either because they die or because they get banned, so you're most likely up for a lifetime-membership ;)

I especially appreciate that you are using your real name as membername. I wish all people on here used their names instead of nicknames, but that's for another thread.

Hey Tom!

Nice to see you on the forums. You know me from the Thursday night Country Club tourneys (among other places in the pool world I'm sure).

Hope to see you back on Thursdays again!

Just got back from Turning Stone. I won two matches and lost two. Great time, great event. More people need to attend. The place deserves wall to wall spectators.

Good to win 2 in that field!! Shows your true speed. Welcome to AZB. Your book sounds great....
nice 'teaser' in to it! ;)

Thanks for the welcome mat folks. I'm wondering, as I watched great players battle it out at Turnig Stone Casino, for a first prize of eight thousand dollars. Will Tom Cruise make more money from the game of pool than anyone else that plays the game. If he does, this is a sad commentary, for the people that devoted their lives to playing the game we love. What are your thoughts?
Welcome Tom.

Not to change the subject, but I went into one forum that asked, "Why aren't we talking about golf?" I thought with the return of Tiger Woods they were asking about that game of golf. I was wrong, they were talking about the pool game of golf. It's played a lot in the clubs in Manchester,NH.

I did spend time today watching the other game of golf. Tim Perry beat Woods in an upset. Tim has never won a golf tournament, yet he has earned over twelve million dollars. Another sad part of the story is he has only three top three finishes in his career. Why couldn't I hit the little white one better?

I do have one final thing to share: I working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Question; Who can tell me where the word upset came from?
These are the questions my dad asked while me my sister and two brothers sat at the supper table. It made for great conversation, and we learned many obscure facts.
