real nice cue, who did butcher job on tips and ferrules
That's the way I got it and I never got around to cleaning it up. I did take those tips down a bit since the pictures were taken!
i haven't seen a pete omen cue that i didn't like!
I just cleaned up the shafts and they look a heck of a lot better now! One of the buckhorn ferrules appears to have another thin piece under it like a liner?
At first it does appear to be hacked up, but it's actually another piece. You can see it quite well in one of the pictures.
Anyone ever hear of a liner UNDER the ferrule?

I have liked this cue since you got it.

Chris, the hit is on the stiff side now.
The hit was softer when the tips were as they are in the pictures.
I took a good 1/3 off and I like the hit much better now!
