We were driving from Fl back to Mi. I stopped to get fuel and pulled into a rather large station with a convience store. There were some seedy looking characters wearing hoodies loitering around a corner of the building. I stopped at the pumps and they started to head towards my vehicle. My wife yells lets get out of here. As I was driving away a police car pulled into the station.

You can never be too careful.

I recently read a book about the Marines and the Battle of Tarawa during WW 2. After the Marines finally got off the beach they penetrated the tunnels, pill boxes and etc resulting in a lot of hand to hand combat using their bayonets. One of the Marines being interviewed said he never seen so many giants in his life. He said they were all over 6ft and looked nothing like those satire images that were always published in the papers, and cartoons.

I'm Japanese and im just a hair under 6'2"
My oldest son is 16 and hes 5'11" and growing.
My other son is 13 and he is 6'3" and still growing.

Its only more funny that you question whether you are a racist.

Sarcasm, sir. I got called out earlier when i was referring to facts. I saw the "small asians" in Jay's post and came with the quip. I'm not a racist and am FULLY aware that there are Asian people of large stature.

My Grandpa told me the same thing...it is interesting that the Japanese impressed quite a few Koreans into their Marines and Army, too, and those guys are typically larger in stature.

What does this have to do with getting robbed by four "human beings" in ski masks? Sounds like the only hate involved was the fact that 4 pieces of s^*t hated the fact that the only way they can make money is to rob at gunpoint.

In closing, deadly force or brandishing a weapon is not an act to be taken lightly or purported to be something anyone could do without even a second thought. Until you're actually
confronted with a threatening scenario to your own or family's welfare, is at serious risk, don't be too quick to judge what's the right thing or wrong thing to do or have done. Owning
a gun and legally carrying a gun is every individual's decision but if and when you do, you are assuming an enormous and onerous responsibility. It can involve life & death, perhaps your own.

KD, u and I are cool BUT- you want to provide stats, well ok. You and I live by Bmore and DC. Let's be honest know, where do most of the murders occur and by whom? You know, I know. A close second is people taking scores. While I will admit the ratio between those two is different, the actual facts support what was posted earlier. If you care to challenge me on that we CAN make a healthy wager on it. Nothing race related here my man, just real life facts.

You can learn a lot about a society, by the way that they treat their most vulnerable members. Wanting to shoot drug addicts in the head paints quite a picture. :mad:
