Which is why USBA not DOUBLE Their Membership. Promotion PromotionPromotion... How Long have I ask USBA for a Association Membership at $25.00, since I don't play in tournaments. Which might be the reason I quit donating to the USBA Tour Tournament, except for Live Streaming, and I might quit doing that.
But you're right about them caring only for MONEY AND TOURNAMENTS >>not Promotion.

And by the emails I have on FILE you owe Me at least 3 cues!!!!!!!!!

Good find Bob. The room owner likely doesn't even know the USBA exists. Sending out information mailers to every pool hall in the nation takes time, a little money, and a bunch of effort. Are you ready to start stuffing envelopes? Seems like Dennis is pretty bored, maybe we can get him to stuff some envelopes, too!

Jamie this self explained .. From USBA WEbsite..

Regional Director Guidelines:

It is expected that a member of the Board will:

1) have and maintain reasonable computer access and check for online Board communications on a regular and timely basis,

2) participate with reasonable frequency in Board discussions, whether on the Board forum, or otherwise,

3) help direct/promote local tournaments.

Encouraged activity:

A Regional Director is strongly encouraged to visit/contact as many billiard rooms as possible within his/her region to establish a relationship with the owner or a representative of the room. If there is no current representative of the room, the Regional Director is encouraged to help establish one. Teaching someone from the room how to run tournaments is ideal. A Regional Director should be available to help local room representatives with information, forms, materials, advice, etc. A Regional Director is encouraged to insure that each room in his/her region has a USBA Membership Display, Poster and Membership Applications which can be provided by the Secretary. A Regional Director is encouraged to promote the USBA and tournaments as often as possible.

A Regional Director can seek reimbursement from the USBA for reasonable expenses incurred during the performance of his/her duties, subject to the approval by the Secretary and/or the Board of Directors. If possible, the expenses should be approved in advance. The normal reasonable expenses are:
- Gasoline expenses incurred in the "establishment" of a new relationship between a room and the USBA

- Necessary tournament & recruitment materials

There 3 BOD for this Region

But Jamie.. the USBA know what I usally post is true and it hard for them to defend it, just as when I'm wrong I will state that..

But when there over 650 USBA members .. why should only 1/10 be involve
in promotion of 3C while the others do Nothing.

Remember I'm USBA #1Nonmember.. and what Zensteve said, is right. "People don't know what go on behind the scene/screen."

USBA is losing ground for What Sang Lee vision was. In the UMB structure..US was just under UMB... now we under CPA.

Without training programs, stronger tournament requirement. USA will never see a player at UMB World 3C Championship.

Hi

It's easy to complain about somebody else's inefficiency. I think it's important to understand that keeping up the website is a big job. Do any of those guys get paid? Anyway, I found a room that needed to be included and forwarded the information to a member of the board. They then included it. It wasn't difficult.

While Bob makes a valid point about the USBA Board he is just trying to spur the horse on. As a non-member USBA like Bob and a former, if short lived President, I see the current Board members doing more work individually than any past board and I first joined in 1973. Collectively that is another story but it is a work in progress. I think Andy Janquito is the best thing that has happeded in years, in terms of the politics of the USBA and wish him luck and longivity in the job.

The vast majority of the USBA members are for the most part extremly selfish as all they seem to want to do is play the game. THAT IS THEY DO NO WORK "OFF THE TABLE" FOR BILLIARDS IN AMERIKA.

You, discovering a table not on the list and reporting it to the USBA's data base was a commendable thing. Are you a member of the USBA just out of curiosity?

The USBA web site I think is now owned by the USBA but up until maybe six months ago that was not the case, as one individual paid to have it created and maintained as well as owned the domain. If he had not stepped up and done it the USBA as a group probably never would have. I believe ownership now has been transfered but of the details I know not. JUST RUMOR but I am a trained intelligence operative and I do have agents in the field still.

SKG that was great you contact the USBA to add room to the list. But have you check the Room to see if they [USBA] follow up with this A Regional Director is encouraged to insure that each room in his/her region has a USBA Membership Display, Poster and Membership Applications which can be provided by the Secretary.

Yes or No answer??

Dieckman well stated. So here 3 TAP! TAP! TAP!

SKG ..you would be surprise. How long it took Dieckman to think and come around to Live stream.

As Jim Shovak have stated before .. He wish some USBA Members .. supported USBA and its Tours as much as this NonMember. I have my way of drawing attention to America 3C Billiards.

But what is your [SHG] ways for Supporting 3C. And that go for anyone who want to comment.

ITS FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME, NOT PROFIT Why RatF@@Ker does what he does...

I would love for the USBA National Champions Present and Past ..Start a Thread explaining which shot [with diagrams and explanation] they like best or others instructions info. Is that so Hard.

But since I probably been Black- Balled by the USBA.. its never going to happen..

billiardshot:

There is a section called "Tips From the Pros" which are monthly shot diagrams from the top US players. Unfortunately, only members can see them (ha ha).

Jim I know that USBA can be contact about a not listed Room. The point I'm stating is how close are USBA and Billiards Suppliers working [and via verse] together to promote 3C. As with Jukebox Billiards.. since its also look like a Billiards Supplier??

Jim Shovak said: There is a section called "Tips From the Pros" which are monthly shot diagrams from the top US players. Unfortunately, only members can see them (ha ha).

I was talking about AZBilliards Fourm , which is a Public Forum. Which I see USBA Forum still not Public, after usba stated they would be about a year ago. Must still be working on that one.

Shovak, you could alway post a teaser in Az Carom Billiards section [of the monthly shot diagrams from "TIPS FROM the PRO"], so Nonmember might see what they might be missing. Oh that Promotion, sorry[HA!]

Another elk club in Calif. not listed on USBA website. Here again you would think Usba Members that belong to Elks org would let USBA be info and update their Billiards Room site.

http://www.elks.org/lodges/lodgefacilities.cfm?lodgenumber=322

Maybe June should be USBA "Billiards Room NOt Listed" Month for 600+ members to find Billiard Room not Listed

Score: RatF@@Ker 4 USBA Members 1
