Another sick shot by Efren

What is the argument here, anyway. I'm arguing with someone who said it was a lucky shot

It was lucky in the sense that he's not going to make that a high percentage of the time....it was a two way shot - sometimes they go, sometimes they don't....if he missed the shot no one would think anything of it, but he makes it and everyone calls it genius...I mean what else could he have done? Most players would have done something similar.

"LUCK" is unexpected good fortune. And i want to emphasize "unexpected". You are basing your definition on the %'s of a calculated shot, ie. yeah what else could he do. Well what else he's going to do is he's going to pocket that shot more often than anyone else. It doesn't make him luckier than anyone else, it makes him BETTER than anyone else.

I would say the same for any player who knows his stuff. He sees the shot, he calculates the shot. Making or missing doesn't define it as luck. Luck is some guy who says what the hell, rears back and shoots not knowing wtf he's doing.....that's luck.

People see Efren shots and their imagine gets taken away with them. He called the two in the side because it was heading that way. Just a two way shot. He ended up getting lucky.

Yeppers, if you ask him after winning a tourney....he will always tell you " I just lucky". I wish I had some of that kind of luck he's got. The guy played carom pool for a long time. You can put "luck" in the equation all you want, but the guy also has a ton of skill and experience to go with it.

The man just plays lucky, LOL.

I believe Freddie the Beard said something about Efren's luck once on here a long time ago. He was telling the story how Efren was learning to play 1h better in Chicago and how he seemed to be so lucky. Trouble is, he seemed to be lucky all the time! LOL

Hey, my wife is Pinay too! In her family, they would call that anting anting (not sure about the spelling).

Yes, that's the right spelling but with a hypen in between. It's talisman, amulet, rabbit's foot, four-leaf clover etc in English...

link description please....

Hey, can you tell me what is the title of the youtube video so i can look it up that way? I can only do youtube on my phone, and somehow I cannot access this video without mistyping, even though I am putting it in exactly as you put it here. Thanks.
