Where Is This Guy Will He Ever Come Out Of Retirement The Guy Is No Where To Be Found Has He Givin Up On Pool Or Will He Be Back ---the Fans Want To Know---

The lore is really starting to build around him. Probably the greatest player to ever come from the Otto Street block in Iowa City.

When he walked through the pool halls of Iowa, the crowd would part like Moses at the Red Sea.

I once heard that he had the mental stamina to sit motionless in a chair while two slumps from Iowa City broke and ran 8 in-a-row on him and his scotch doubles partner. What a set of flawless racking he put on them!

I also heard he had the strength of ten men...well, he could bite through a pool cue like it was made of old wood anyway. His jaw is the envy of bit bulls everywhere!

Above all else, I heard he was a real compassionate soul. If he stuck you for a couple of hundred, he would walk you over to general store and let you pay him off in CD's, pens & pencils, personal lubricants, and copies of jiggly magazines charged to your family credit card.

His legend is only surpassed by that of one Ray Funk.

Thats funny as hell, have know Craig for almost 10 years. lol

BTW I won the 9-ball open at Valley. A good run for me. Especially in a race to 4. Thats hard to fade. I had 6 hill hills. Including almost getting double dipped, Almost.

You are like the anti-TravisTrotter. Capitalizing every word instead of never using a capital.

I've never heard of him, but sounds like a great story.

I have also "heard" of this legend. He may still be underground perfecting his racking techniques for future mathches.

I may be mistaken but the legendary scotch doubles match, at least how I heard the story, may have been 9-0!

Another legend that has fallen off the radar screen from that same great era is Bankin' Jay! What a shame, another compassionate soul & stand-up guy!

I hope that's some sort of silver dollar pancake, otherwise we all need to pray that that bunny doesn't get angry...

Hey Chip, the fans aren't the only ones who want to know! if you can convince him to come out of hiding and take one last "retirement swing" let me know. Preferably sooner than later, the golf courses are calling my name....Just don't mention anything to your other horse....I don't want any!

i dont know if josh would play you put he did get 3rd lol

Unless U catch him in a poker room, or maybe stand next to him in the buffet line, odds are you are not going to see Craig. He's the "big foot" of Cedar Rapids. People claim they see him scurry across their lawn, I'm calling BS! But if you do see him, don't make any sudden moves, cause you may startle him, and in self defense, he will throw his shoe at you!
