Another successful Cue Tech road show pool school!

Randy and I just finished a 3-day pool school, with Joe Tucker, out in Providence RI. We had a full school, including a couple of standbys. They took home a boatload of information, and are now ready to practice their "Mother Drills" and assimilate the information into their pool games.

I'm always in awe of how the Cue Tech Pool School's SPF program is so quickly integrated into our students' mindset. It's always rewarding to watch our students incorporate this process with their past experience, whether they've played for a year or 30 years. The gift of having an open mind is an essential element to learning! It was fun to have Joe Tucker working with us. He is a great instructor in his own right, and it was great to expose our students to the "Third Eye Stroke Trainer" and Joe's new laser aiming invention. He should become a valuable addition to the SPF family of instructors.

Randy is headed to Rockville MD for another school next weekend. I'm headed for private lessons in CT, NJ, PA and NY, before heading home to MI next Monday!

Asset

You all are an asset to the pool world, and I am so glad that I took the time to learn from Randy and Carl at pool school.

Maybe one day I can learn from you too Scott. I hear a lot of great things about you.

Right now I am just trying to figure out how to hook up with Eric Yow, cause I want to learn his masse style, and maybe he can help me with my jump a bit too.

I would like to go learn some from Joe Tucker, and Stan Shuffett too. However, I have to do it a little at a time due to prior engagements and money restraints. LOL Don't we all though!

Good instructors understand the value of learning from many sources. Randy and I have studied with many other instructors, both pool and other sports.
You have to keep searching for more information and better ways to convey it to the student. This includes sports psychologists, eye doctors, kinesiologists, and various other trainers.

If I could only open my mind, man I always think I am right hah :D Glad to see you fellas are making more pool players think they are good enough to not get robbed by me :) But seriously I have become a teacher recently, man I don't have the patience haha Keep up the good work the USA needs it.

Eric.

Eric...It takes a LOT of patience to be a good teacher in any subject! My wife has two masters degrees, and taught high school and college english, music, speech and drama for 25 yrs! Now THAT takes patience! :D

Talk about a road man. Scott and Randy are modern day pool roadmen, except instead of trying to rob eveyone, they try to make them better. Are they screwed up or what? :)

Glad everything went well, You guys do a great job. Lance stopped by the other day and I introduced him to the S.A.M Banking system i've been working on and he loved it.

Scott,
What you don't realize is "Southern" english is a whole different language! LOL. Me 'n Randy might just have to teach y'all (note: Y'all is one word!) a thing or two! ;)

Give my best to Patti. Hope to see you back in Charlotte again in October for two weekends of pool school!

Steve

I just got off the phone with Randyg, and he had another great school this past weekend in Rockville MD. 8 students (including a couple of 'returnees') who got heavily dosed with a ton of solid information about how to improve their stroke and pool game by a LOT!:D He was headed back to Dallas for some well-deserved rest, and time with his lovely wife Karen! Can't wait to work with Randy again at our next road show pool school...July 20-22 at Guppies, in Holland, MI (right in my own backyard)! Also caught up with Denny Stewart, of the Ohio Pool School. If you haven't had a chance to work with Denny...you are missing the boat!

After Providence, I worked with students in MA, RI, CT, NJ, PA and yesterday met a nice gentleman in Syracuse, NY, who drove down from Canada to spend the day with me. Overall a wonderful two weeks on the road, and really enjoyed "spreading the word"! :D

I'm back home for a few days, and then off to work with students in IL, IA, KS, NE, CO, SD, MN and WI for two more weeks! I still have a few time slots open if anyone in these states is interested. PM me for more info! God I LOVE this job! LOL  :D

As Jay said..."On the road again"...I can hear Willie singin' it in my head! LOL

Scott, I'm not sure why you called me a gentleman. I noticed you skipped town without giving me that 1000 Bill that we bet on? Hmmm

In all seriousness, thanks for a great day! There is so much to learn in 8 hours. I appreciate all your help. We will definitely be seeing you in the future.

Mike...I think I was thrown off by all of my wife's shopping, and it completely slipped my mind! I've put it in the mail to you! :D I enjoyed working with you too! Now comes the practice...
