I've heard that Corey Deuel holds it that way and plays using the bridge on every shot.

I've seen the bridge laid on the table, on a rail, held down with the hand, cradled in an arm, held high and held low.
Putting the bridge on top of the shoulder, and playing the shot with a conventional stroke, is just a new one to me.

You guys want to see original uses of the bridge just watch Allen Hopkins play. I've seen him stack bridges to shoot over the stack, turn a bridge on edge to jump with.....also I saw him lay the bridge length ways across the table to shoot out of the stack. I must have learned 4 new ways to use the bridge watching 1 of his 14.1 matches.

I heard the same thing a couple of years ago, so I tried it.
It is actually much easier than it looks, after trying it for a couple of racks, I felt that I was playing better than using my normal bridge. :wink:
