I am looking for a colored picture of a 6 legged Brunswick Alexander Balk Collender (spelling?) circa 1900-1910 for a friend. I have already e-mailed brunwick as well. Any help from my AZ friends would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here you go:

This company is great to work with for table restorations too.

Chris

Ps. Pretty amazing table - hope yours looks as good.

I had seen the Alexandria table on the site, but my friend informed me that it was called "alexander" Perhaps between him and the potential seller there was a misunderstanding.

If I had the room for a table, I'd love to buy a Brunswick "Kling" table with the original ball "Lightning" return system... I think they're the same model of tables that were in the pool room called "Elkers" in NYC, where "The Hustler" was filmed :)

There's something about those big old tables with the heavy set construction, original wood inlays and original ball return systems that seems to bring the history of pool to life in some way or another, it's kinda difficult to describe though :)

EDIT - It looks more like it was Brunswick's "Hudson" model pool table with the ball return, that was in "The Hustler"... still such a nice table though and it's a shame that tables aren't built to be as strudy as that anymore :)
