With all the pros playing is there any action going on there? With all the pros NOT playing I'm not sure even that Orlando convention center can hold all those egos. I know most of the well known pros don't gamble as much but there were some faces in those pictures that I know still bet it up!!! Just curious. thanks

They put up a few practice tables yesterday and all of us other players were on it all day. Every once in awhile a KOHer would shoot. One table was $20/game. I challenged Edwin Montal and he broke and ran on me. Goodbye $20. 8 Ball Bernie is just cracking everyone up. He is making good on his promise to be the most colorful character here. Trouble is, I think he forgot what he said and he is just being himself.

I played for awhile, but I didn't have a cue and the wrong contacts in as I didn't expect to shoot. Maybe tomorrow, but there are going to be some great matches and I don't want to miss those either!

Bernie reminds me of Sam from the apprentice. He put on a show during a soliloquy that was reminiscent of a scene out of 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest'.

What I saw of his pool, I expect some captivating experiences with his dramatics. He shoots all right...just seems a bit hyperactive / unfocused in his play. I wouldn't mind seeing him playing / bantering with Earl. :D

I don't know what the IPT's policy on gambling is/will be, but if I remember correctly Sigel was one of the guy's that had a big hard-on for stopping the gambling at tournaments back in the late 80's/early 90's. I would bet that gambling will be frowned upon by the powers that be at future IPT events..

I think you are missing an important point here...if you are playing in one of KT's tournaments, and been on the tour a bit, you are not going to be concerned with action or 20 dollar games. You are going to be making a living, and an honest living at that, playing the game of pool.

Imagine that? Someone not needing to gamble to be a success in our sport.
