I picked up a used Coker the other night and don't know all that much about the maker.I have seen them and played a few racks over the years with different ones and always thought they were nice looking cues and seemed to be well constructed. If I can get my digital camera to power on I'll try and post some pics but until then any information on the maker would be great.
I'll post some information also on the cue when I get home tonight.

Thanks
Bora

Bora, they've got a website. Family thing. 2 brothers, I think.
I've got a Coker plain jane. I mainly play one pocket but when I
play 8 ball or 9 ball the Coker's my favorite cue.

Cokers

Tom and Grady Coker started Coker cues, father son deal. Grady is not as much involved anymore but Tom's wife Michi does the inlay work and Tom does the majority of the construction. IMO the cues play very well and are a great pick up for the $$

The Coker Cue Story ...

Tom and Michi Coker are currently building cues in their Sacramento Shop with the help of at least one other person ... Grady has moved on to a State job and is seldom seen around the shop ... Coker Cues are constructed in a manner very similar to Southwest ... The quality is well above average and the hit & playability is basically the same from cue to cue ... You cannot go wrong by buying one of their cues, especially if you get a deal ... Collector market is soft right now on Cokers, since they are in semi-mass production, but the really fancy ones seem to hold their value well ... They have built many cues for me over the years and every one turned out excellent ... Each time they complete a small batch for me, I sell them out very quickly ... You will find Michi very pleasant to speak with on the phone and she would be very happy to discuss a special order cue with you ... Coker Cues has my Highest Recommendation for Craftsmanship and Customer Service ...
