Really the only pool hall of any interest is Antiques. There is also phantom canyon, but the players don't go there. Antiques has bar table 9 ball on Fri.....entry fee like $5....feed the coin slot.

Yeah, I've been there. I played a few times last year and then did the Colorado State tourny, took 3rd. Haven't played since. Before that I haven't touched my cue in about 10 years.
Going to try the State tourny again this year. I need to shoot a few games first ..haha

As stated by Salamander is Friday night at Antiques 9ball for $5 on bar boxes. Sunday 10 ball Tournaments handicapped at Corner Pocket West $10 on bar boxes. If you want to play in a tournament with more than 10-12 people during summer time you are going to have to go to Denver.I'll be around this Friday night shooting at Antiques if you're interested.

Got my Sams mixed up.
Not sure if you showed or not but I played in the tournament. Had 11 show up...I won. Went 4-0,4-2, 4-2, 4-0. Took 4 hours to finish. That was a lot of work to walk away with $45 :boring2:
thats why I quit playing in them.
I once played in a major bar table tournament,it took me 10 hours to place 19th out of 59. Not really any fun at all.
You must be a gluton for punishment. Did you factor in the feeding of the coin slot for you win? I never saw the point to those tournaments.
I only spent about $3.50 in quarters. There were several runouts :wink: which allowed for the use of the other balls.
It's just friendly competition and gets me away from the kids for a while..haha
Congrats on the win BrianB. I have played in many low paying tourneys just fo grins. It has been a few years since there has even been a tournament with in 40 miles of me so I have been idle.
I didn't make it last Friday but nice win, there's usually a couple good sticks there. A guy from Pueblo was telling me there's a Friday night 8ball & Saturday afternoon 9ball (might have games mixed up) but he said they were getting 16-24+ people in those at Classic Q's. I hope to go down there in the next couple weeks to check it out. I stay pretty busy in summer so I don't play as much as winter.
