Any decent pool room in San Franscisco

Hi all,
Will be going to SFO for a short trip. Wonder if there is any pool room near Chinatown area .
 
Maybe 45 minutes away (I think) is California Mountain View. It is also a nice room. They also have foosball:)
 
In the city, Family Billiards on Geary. Great food near by including my favorite Korean restaurant.

Across Bay Bridge, Broken Racks in Emeryville, http://thebrokenrack.com/

Down the peninsular, California Billiard Club in Mountain View, http://www.californiabilliardclub.com/ . This is the most spacious pool room around the Bay Area but kinda dead for action these days.

There is another pool room in Mountain View called Shoreline Billiards, http://www.shorelinebilliards.com/ ... lot of league plays in this room

Further away is Edgie's Billiard in Milpitas. A lot of Filipino players in this room.
 
If you're in the East Bay, Thalassa in Berkeley is a nice room. I was just there a few weeks back while visiting the area.
 
Thanks for all the replies, think i will give family billiards a visit cause its pretty near the hotel i would be staying. Others are much too far for me as i would not have a car there, therefore getting around might be a problem.
 
Family Billiards is the place to be. The owner, Delbert, is super pool player friendly - being one himself.

Plenty of good players there.
 
For action and great tournaments you have to go to Family Billiards on Geary. Mountain view California billiard club isnt what it used to be but it is one of the nicer rooms to have a quiet time.
Edgies in milpitas is another room were most of the action from California billiard club now go to play, edgies has realy become the hang out spot just like Family in Frisco.

Not really looking for action, would not mind playing for table time though. My game have not been good lately.:frown::frown:
