I put out the request for bracket photos to Upstate Al on the ginky thread in the live stream forum.

The Russian guy said it was a bit of a situation and a disappointment.
I'm guessing another meltdown/blow-up. It didn't sound like he was knocked out early.
But I'm just speculating from the dialogue in the commentator box.
A commentator said last night that he was late for his match and forfeited...
....so instead of going to the B-side, he left.
Doesn't sound like Earl, does it?
Earl showed up a few minutes late to forfeit his first loss. Then just didn't show for 2nd set.
I saw him play an early match and he shot great. His cue looked 3 inches wide with heavy tennis wrap.
We desperately need brackets. Be nice to know where people are and who's undefeated. ...oh well the price is right.

As Upstate Al explained last night and emphasized it wasn't confirmed at that time, Earl was tired and went to his apt across the street for a nap then was called by someone at Steinway telling him he had about 30 min til his match. When Earl arrived apparently his match had been called and he missed the grace period and was forfeited.
Earl was so upset about it that he decided not to play his one-loss side match.
Not 100% confirmed but think that's how it went.

I have been a Earl fan for many years but I can tell you he's losing my support when he goes off or pulls stuff like this. He has so much talent at his age but needs to get help before he loses it all. Who wants to sponsor someone thats so unpredictable, never know what he's gonna do. I watched his first match and he was a beast.
