I'm just curious.... How does a cue owner not know what make of cue he has?

Or --- Why would someone not want to ask the owner what make of cue it is?

LOL!

I've been trying to figure that one out myself.

By the way, flip the image. It's upside down!

Cues like this are often confused for Asian imports. I always want to see people's "crap" cues for this reason.

:D

EDIT: To the OP....you do realize that when you post that here you blow the cover on the cue, right? LOL!

Like the guy on Pawnstars, I would rather know what I might be buying and have to spend more money to get something of quality. I've made some really good cue purchases with nothing but dumb luck and I've made a few bad ones (imports). Although, I have found the imports make great house cues for the bangers that visit. They think they are shooting with a really nice cue and I know they are marking up one of my Hueblers!

When buying cues you start with an empty bag of experience and a big bag of money. My goal is to fill my bag of experience before my bag of money is gone!

I get it.

Many of us are in the same boat.

I frequently wrestle with posting an unidentified cue. Usually I don't. But I am probably better than most at identifying them, so I eventually usually figure it out on my own. Very often I can identify them from fuzzy pics so I don't even ask for better pics. The risk is the seller will post the better pics instead of just sending them to me. This cue is an example. They first said there were no markings on it. But I think somebody asked for a pic of that mark. They posted that pic. Then the price shot up. I was a bidder before they posted it, but certainly not now. Too many, like yourself, are going to bid, and the selling price will become unreasonable, for sure. It's already getting there.

Some of those "crap" imports are better than some people think anyway. I always want to see people's "crap" cues. Show me before you let it get banged up. I might give you more than you think for it.
