Any ideas on this cue?

I am thinking about buying this cue from a shop and I'm not sure if it is custom or if it just some knock off. Any help would be great, it also says beside the signature 3/99'

Need more pictures of the cue especially the joint. Not that I'm an expert but that's what the experts will tell you.

Actually pictures of the cue are better, that signature is pretty tough to make out. I'll say right now if it's custom it's not a very good job because the points that are in the pic are not even with each other and one is at a funny angle.

That's probably just the date it was made, does not help at all.
