Any info on this thing???

I don't know about this one for sure, but back in the late 60's and early 70's, servicemembers like myself would pick these cues up in the Philipines or Japan. They were definitely cheap (most were ramin wood), but were pretty cool. We (as sailors) could bring them back to the ship and could store them in our bunks. Soldiers could keep them in their lockers and bags, and you could buy them and ship them back home as cheap souvenirs. Same thing is true for the carved "cane/walking sticks" that you see (I still have one of those).

I was in Louisville a few years back during the DCC and went to the Bank Shot and sure enough somebody actually walked in, put one these suckers together and played.

I grin even to this day.

When I was a teenager growing up in Australia I had a 3 piece cue that looked very similar.

I have this exact cue in my collection, but I have no idea what the heck it is.
The one I have has a butt cap that looks like a knob you can screw on, and a screw on tip that looks like it would be used as a cane. I realize that it plays like crap but I am intrigued about any info anyone has on it.
