or you could just threaten them that you are going over to verizon like i did, and get it for nothing !!!!
 
I have black 32g 3gs that is only 2 weeks old, I do not use it because we switched back to us cellular.
 
i have a used 2 G. send me pics i will make a deal. its been sitting in the box waiting for activation

2g is better for jailbreaking. when i got my 3g i just put this up
