Great point, Fred! Yes, Evan and I used to talk weekly and he told me McDermott and Schon stories. Brilliant guy.McDermott was using CNC to build their cues as early as 1983. I know this will confuse people, but McDermott (Evan Clarke was with McDermott at the time) were making their V-groove points and many sub-components using CNC mills and lathes.

I think the only one I have is the one I posted earlier in this thread, an E-K1, which came standard with a stainless 5/16x14 piloted joint. But I could have more. I just started getting into my cues in storage today after more than 5 years and just found a C-6 I forgot I had, the ferrule shrunk, it needs a new one, other than that it is perfect.Anyone else have D cues with stainless joints?
Show them off!
