That's interesting. I was just in Jim's shop last week and his brother put a tip on my Schon IV (ivory ferrule). He had a couple sneakies and a high end cue on hooks waiting to be finished.
 
Give Rick Phillippi a call (google his name, and you'll find his website). I bought a sneaky from him a few months back for a travel cue...and it plays INCREDIBLE. Rick's as nice as they come, too. He'll take care of ya.

Ask Bamacues about the Phillippi sneakies he's had. You can take Bama's word as gospel.

spoke with bama.he doesn't have any for sale now..he recently sold a TS.and i really want to look into that..alot of cue's out there look's nice.but i havin't play with it personal so i dont want to spend some money on some cue that i'll regrad later on..that's why. but thanks for the help

I have a Predator SP conversion that was converted by Duc Lam. It is the SP with the green pts. It has a leather wrap and his custom shaft. it hits a ton. Has a hard molavia tip on it and it is a nice stick all around. if you might be interested pm me and I will get you some pics and a price.

My pleasure. I didn't mean to ask Bama if he, necessarily, had a Phillippi for sale...more to just verify with him that a Phillippi sneaky is a great cue. He's sold a couple/few...and we've spoken about how nice they are. The last one he sold was the reason I wanted to get one for myself. I'm glad I made the decision to get one...it plays extremely well, and is built as solid as can be.

I understand why you're after a Scruggs SP, though. They're great cues, too. I've owned a few, and each one was a monster player's cue.

... well the thing is..i never played with that type of cue so i really dotn know how it hit or if i like it or not..dont want to spend extra money on it when later on i found out i dont like it no more..so yea..and i played with a t.S at my league.and i really like it..that's why i want a time scruggs instead of something else..if i get lucky peoples are FROm new york then i would love to test hit the cue if possible..
 
any sneaky pete seller out there is from new york so i can test hit the cue before i buy them ??? or any T.S out there?

Makes perfect sense, sir. "Go with what you know"...or be able to try a cue out before you buy it. No fault in that logic.

I know a guy that was beginning to consider selling his Scruggs sneaky in the D.C. metro area a few months back. I'll send him an e-mail and see if he still has it, if he's looking to sell (if he DOES still have it, that is), and I'll drop you a PM with some details, if I hear back from him.

I have the following TS Sneaky that I would consider selling. I picked it up a while back and it is in very good condition for a 15 -20 year old sneaky that was a player. I would let it go for $475 shipped or I would consider trades for the right cue. The cue hits great, but I'm used to a predator, so I'm just not willing to take the time to adjust. Let me know what you think!
