any of you have names for your cues?

My breaker is called Dragon, so my playing cue had to be Nighthawk.

I have two old cues that look and play better than I do.

One is a Dufferin High Run one-piece four point cue I bought at a thrift shop for $2.00. I refinished it and installed a new tip and ferrule,.I call it "Two Buck Chuck."

I bought a 1980s National (China) cue with a nice case for $8.00 from a guy who removed it from a dumpster behind a bar. Cleaned it, installed new tip, and I love it. I call it, "Dumpy".

My Cue has no name, when I suck at pool, I take the blame. It is my responsibility to make my Cue work like it was in the hands of some World Class Play.

It is only a tool in the proper hands that Will, & Can play wonderful.

People name all sorts of things, wondering if any of you have names for your playing cues. A couple buddies started refferring to my newest and nicest cue as "Excalibur" so it kind of stuck. But since then I started calling it "Vieira" in honor of Jayne's gun from my favorite sci-fi, Firefly. If you have any names please share the reason/story to them :)
A friend of mine started calling my JP19-L Excalibur as well. I refer to it by that name on occasion, but haven't really given it a name myself.

Sir, Yes Sir!
This Privates cue is named CHARLENE

There are many like it
but this one is mine.

Ha! Great reference! Guess the song could shange a bit, "This is my cue and this is my gun, both are for shooting both are for fun"

I call my current player "My McMeucci".

It is a Mcdermott RS-11 with a Meucci PRO shaft.

It hits GOOD.

"Black Maria" Pronounced as in Mariah. This was an old term for a police patrol wagon aka Paddy Wagon. Since I drove one in the '70's I thought it would be a good name for my Schon SP series BW2. Which is ebony/ very black linen/ebony into BEM. It's even engraved. It suits my history.

Today, I am calling mine "Foreign Matter" : (

Named cues

My pink/ purple Jacoby's name: "My Precious"! :-) More for what it means to me than for my capabilities, but still fun!

Guess mines named the Forever cue. At least that's what my wife called it when I bought it. So this will be the last cue you ever buy Forever.

Frankenstein is my Mottey cue's handle...........Serpentine is what my Scrugs cue is called.....and.....and.....

Are you guys serious?

If I ever referred to an inanimate object with a nickname, then someone please confirm the dosage on my meds.
Fellows. it's only a piece of wood, albeit decorative and expensive, and thinking of it......referring to it........as anything
other than your pool cue is just weird and seems a little juvenile.
