Any one interested in going in on a bulk buy of Cyclop balls?

I received my two sets today, and they are perfect, just what I wanted.

If someone is interested in buying my second set (both sets are TV balls), I will be at the Shooters-Olathe tournament on February 20-23. Just PM me if you want a set.

Justin, thanks again for coordinating this whole thing. I left positive iTrader for you also. Seemed appropriate!

Will Prout

I would like to buy them
I will not be in Olathe though.
I will buy if you can ship or maybe I can find someone in Houston that is going.

Again, to further clarify, if you got a code from me, you should be good to use it.

also, call the Local number: 812-288-7665

Thanks again Justin, I ordered on Tuesday and received tracking info on Wednesday. Shipping to California was $21.00. They should arrive next Monday. Martin

Just talked with cody. 7-8 guys haven't put in their order. they have until 2pm EST.

Hope everyone gets in. It's a crappy deal if you kept someone from getting their set.

my balls arrived today. Look nice, should be able to use them when my table is done in the next couple of weeks- I'm hoping. _having a GCIII Diamonized.

Just received 1 Set of Skittles and 1 Set of Traditional,

Everything looks good, but one thing,

The China Made Boxes are absolutely, CRAPPo,

I do plan on getting an aramith nylon carrying case and a Delta 18 Rack and Ball carrier.

But, I just opened the UPS box and

1 of the boxes has one corner broken off,

1 of the boxes has 2 corners broken off,

So, the boxes wont work for transporting or even storing the balls as the boxes are cracking and splitting and falling apart and I havent even used the balls, yet.

But the balls themselves all look good,

Hope I am not being picky, but for a ballset that retail for pushing $300.00, I would hope they would invest a little more in the packaging, but just me being Anal, I guess.

Thanks again for the Group deal

Man that's horrible I hope the boxes don't effect the playability of the balls :thumbup and the retail doesn't push $300 just sayin.

I got mine, both boxes were perfect, and I actually thought would work nice for carrying purposes.

All in all, this worked out very well. I wonder if we could get a similar deal for other products. I may look into it with the AZB higher up folks.

Justin,

I'm telling you that a AZ Buyers Club would work......the owners might not like using he name AZ but the club would work out well. If you went to a cue-maker, a case-maker, or a billiards equipment distributor and placed a quantity order, you'd definitely get a discount. That's the underlying merit of a buyers club.......if you went to John Barton and said you wanted to buy 15 cases (not a dozen new custom ordered cases but maybe that would work too???), or even Diamonds and you wanted to order a dozen new Diamond Tables (exluding delivery & set-up which would be actual or T&M) in one single order, you'd get a discount......any table manufacturer would do that....volume commands a better price.....always has and always will...........so an AZ Buyers Club could evolve into a dynamic, powerful entity.........I think the Forum should investigate this and operate it a profit but still offer enormous savings opportunities at the same time.

Got a chance to play with both sets of Cyclops, Today.

Both played nicely, I had no issues with skidding and no clinging at all.

I got one set of each

Traditional Colors

Skittle TVColors

Both played the same no difference.

But, as soon as I opened up the Traditional color set, I checked out all the balls and checked for any color problems or anything else. When I came to the '2' ball I thought I saw a reflection on the ball and under unspection I have a small chip in the ball.

So, I will contact Cody tomorrow and find out what there policy is on this situation. I hadn't even put the balls on the table, yet, so no one can say I did the damage from playing with them. But, it is unfortunate, I hope I dont have to ship the whole box back, because all the other balls are perfect.

I would hate to waste $40.00 in shipping for a $20 ball.

I will let everyone know what comes of this.

Hope no one else has any issues.

The playability, however is top notch and I did require any adjustment time from the Aramith Duramith Balls that I am using currently.

Casey, you are a riot.. I've gotta say, mine arrive with the box in perfect condition and seems very high quality. The balls play great IMHO and I've not noticed any abnormal skidding at all. I know they break a lot better playing 1P, probably just because they are clean and my old Aramiths are far from clean.

So far, I love the Cyclop balls and have nothing but good things to say.

Donate them to the local boys and girls club.

I'd be happy to make a deal if several (10+) wanted to order at the same time. But, since this forum is publicly searchable, all deal transactions would need to either be in a private group or via PM because I can't advertise a price (publicly) that is below MAP on billiard supplies. I'm also a wholesale broker with my parent company Webb Wares Inc and we are always looking for group buyers on all kinds of things.

OR1pkt, you are a riot.

In fact 2 weeks ago I did just that, I donated one of my brand new unopened copies of 'Target Pool' to the kids at the Suncoast Boys and Girls club.

Also, after I deal with my '2' ball I am going to be donating a Centennial set and an Aramith Premier set to the Suncoast and Pinellas Boys and Girls Clubs pool room so that they can ditch the polyester resin balls that they have been using for years,

I wish I could donate more to these programs because these kids are mostly great kids that have a tough environment to grow up in. They need support from others, not just financial but also just one on one support from adults that can guide them and help them through the tough times of growing up in todays environment.

Unfortunately, my financial situation is minimal, since I used all my assets to stay alive and beat 9 different infections. But, I am not complaining I am happy to be alive and slowly rebuilding my life and helping others in the process. I drive a 27 year old car and that blew up, so I had to sell some of my few assets to replace the vehicle. Im not talking 30 or 40 thousand dollar car. I am talking about a 4 to 5 thousand dollar car, but I will be happy and glad to get whatever I can. I am slowly building my ProShop and Mobile Business and I am now working with the newly formed GPPA global pool players association league that was started by Mike Sigel. You might have seen the Billiard Digest article in Feb. 2014 with Mike Sigel on the cover. So, I am very happy that even though I dont have a pot to piss in I am not living off the tax payers and doing as much as I can to rebuild my life, business and at the same time help others.

It amazes me how cynical and nasty people can be with their comments.

I would ask the person who made this comment, how many hours a week they are donating to help others and the youths of today better themselves and grow the game of Pool for the future players?

I spend atleast 3 hours a week at two local boys and girls clubs and have for over 4 years now. This I started when I was spending most of my time in the hospital and trying to heal from blood and bone infections that ended up costing me the use of my right hip and pelvis. But, it didnt stop me from helping others.

Anyway, I wish that more people would be positive and not of such a negative and nasty spirit.

But, I cant worry about those few people that ruin it for so many others.

Be happy for what you have, if you have your health and happiness you way ahead of a lot of people out there.

Thats it I have spoken my peace,

Respectfully

Even though I work a full time job to comfortably support my family I do donate time to a program called "adopt a school" which helps underprivileged children pass state testing, this school year I am tutoring a third grade class with their math aptitude which I feel is more important than helping them grow the game of pool...

My comments are to not be cynical but to merely point out BS or what is shady, and given your track record on here with the whole DVD debacle and your request for in demand items that you are supposedly donating E.G. Karseal cue wax in the the tin cans that the kids needed to work on their cues etc... I mean come on man

Sorry you ve had health problems even though that's irrelevant as everyone has problems/issues.

Good luck with the new league that Mike Siegal is behind, I'm sure it's on the square and up and up just like the IPT that he was behind was...oops I'm being cynical again.

every car forum i'm on has "group purchase" deals all the time from vendors. the vendors get a large order, the buyers get a bulk discount, everyone it happy.

glad you guys were able to get this together.
