Any one interested in going in on a bulk buy of Cyclop balls?

I did cap this off, but if there ends up only being 4-5 guys on the outside looking in, I'll try to get every one in.

I'll be honest, I didn't think this many people would jump in. I was really hoping to get just 10-12 people. Diamond has said that there is no additional price break past 10. (if we order 50 sets it will still be $150 per set.) I'm waiting to hear back from Cody at diamond on paypal payment. This would be the easiest for us all to pool our money, IMO. I talked with him at like 830-9ish cst. I'll call him again here in a little bit to see where we're at.

I'm thinking if there is 30 of us, which it looks pretty close right now, we could break into 2-3 purchasing groups, just to make the process a little easier. Is anyone willing to volunteer to be a purchaser. I don't mind doing it, but would love to handle 10-12 instead of the current 22+ sets I'd have to do right now.

Open to suggestions. we obviously have enough buying power to get ourselves a better deal, so lets maximize this opportunity!

~~~Another option has emerged that may be easier for everyone to get the same great price, but be simpler to purchase. Details to come.~~~
I can be a purchaser. I'm in Virginia so I can handle the east coast.
JHanso18. I think you have just become Cyclop largest distributor worldwide. They need to hire you and see how many of these things they can get out there.
I actually played with the skittle balls at BCA Vegas and liked them. There is a clear coat on the cue ball that takes some getting used to but they stay clean and I didnt experience the skidding that some people have noted.
klaha81 - skittles ~ I'm not sure if they'll work out your shipping for you, but if need be I can step up and get them shipped for you. I'll just need your money up front please.
The above is the finalized list.
This is capped at 30 people, per my agreement with Diamond.
So I truthfully had no idea it would get this much interest. I was really hoping for like 10-12 guys tops. but after seeing this much demand I knew that getting everyone's money and then product, etc would eventually turn into a huge fiasco. SO, I called up diamond and got us a better deal!!!
Here's the deal, Cody at Diamond has decided to cap this at 30 people. He is working with me to make sure the 30 people in this thread get the deal, as they were the first 30 to sign up. We will get our sets at $150 + shipping as discussed. (2 SET LIMIT PER PERSON.) The best part being each person will deal with Diamond directly, so NO MORE MIDDLE MEN. To get your set you need to follow the below instructions.
1. PM me with your first and last name, phone number, and email address.
2. I will PM you back with the PROMO CODE to give Cody on the phone, when you call next week. (You will have until Thursday 2/6/2014 at midnight to PM me your info.) I will then email Cody the list of the 30 people's info, so he can verify on the phone, and take your order.
3. You will have from Monday 2/10/2014 through friday 2/14/2014 to call in your order during Diamond business hours. ASK SPECIFICALLY FOR CODY. Give him the promo code I sent you via PM.
4. I believe they will ship all sets that Friday, but verify with Cody on the phone when you call.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If the above doesn't work for you, please let me know right away, so that some one can have your spot. This is a great deal, and Diamond is awesome for letting us do it this way!!!

Thanks in advance to all who stepped up to get us this good deal!

Thanks for getting this deal Justin! I just sent you my info via PM...

Also, I'm pretty swamped today, so I will email everyone later today with the promo code.

PM Sent. Thanks... since I can order two sets; if someone is local to Southern California and would like me to order them one too then let me know... I would prefer not to ship though and I would need the cash up front.

I know this has been bumped a lot, but it's for the benefit of a ton of people. I need to get everyone's names and info for Diamond, to make this deal good.

Please see the bottom of page 3 to get all the details!!!!

If it isn't too late, I'd like a skittles set.

Please and thank you!

I'm sorry but the list was capped at 30. My two sets are spoken for, but you could try some one else on the list. Cody from diamond put a cap at 30 people, 2 set limit per, this time around.

You know this is amazing and I wonder if this same thing couldn't be done via an AZ Group Buyers Club.

Start a thread about wanting to buy something that might be too costly to get as a single item but if you
bought a dozen, two dozen, a hundred, that's a lot of buying power and times are tough. You can't do that
with a custom cue order but for pool accessories, why not. Want a better price on say Kamui Chalk, or
Kamui Clear tips, or pool balls like the situation at hand, imagine if you asked for a price discount on
six dozen Kamui chalks, or 50 tips, etc.

It probably isn't worth organizing something to save $5 or $10 but on higher priced items, why not give it a shot?
Find a distributor looking to move inventory or who is interested in maybe developing a group approach with a
bunch of AZers, I think it has merit. Frankly, I think this is something that the Forum could develop and allow
as say a Gold Membership fringe benefit and that alone might increase interest and desire to become a Gold Member
.....only costs less than 10 cents a day.......look at how much money can be saved if the Forum would allow such a section.

I'd create a brand new section "Gold Members Only" and there can be a section where you can accomplish something akin
to what I've described. I hope Jerry reads this because exclusivity arouses interest & interest always leads to new members.

Wow at 150 a set I'd find the money for these... Wish I saw that.

Hell I would drive TO Diamond to pick em up. Its like an hour and a half from me lol.

Just to be clear, Diamond CANNOT except Paypal, but you can organize a way to pay for your balls with Cody when you order.

I need to have all people present and accounted for by thursday, so PM me with your info ASAP.

Also if you want in on this deal, each person can order two sets, you can hop on with someone I'm sure. Both mine are spoken for or I would get BB or Danny in.

All the best, I'm still blown away how well this worked out! Diamond and AZB working together to hook us all up!

I guess the real question would be will this work for their tables? What kind of price brake can we get if we order 20-30 tables at the same time? HHHMMMMMM.......

Now thats what im talking about!!!!! It would be very nice if this would work.

Just wondering whether Cody would object if anyone that originally indicated only one set actually bought two sets which I know is the limit per person.
But if anyone on the list of 30 AZers wanted to do a solid for another AZer, not on this list, and purchased two sets, could that AZer provide Cody with
two different shipping addresses and of course, different names?

Cody might take a dim view of it and of course, he also has to put in extra work to ship more pool balls to more than 30 addresses (AZ of names & addresses).
I mean it might look like what started out as a kind gesture could unintentionally morph into being viewed as really opportunistic. If Cody doesn't mind, and
since he's getting paid for shipping cost, then any AZer on the list should be open to helping a fellow AZer that missed out on this great deal Justin put
together. I mean the sets are now being dropped shipped and how much better can it get? But to come forth and make it look like some of us on the list
were buying a 2nd set only to re-sell it or present it as a gift.....sure, not suspicious when everyone starts doing it.....well, only Justin could make this call.

I brought this up in case it hasn't been thought about before now. The safest bet is someone piggybacking would just pay the shipping cost from the AZer
on the list to them so they'd essentially pay for shipping twice. Before we start buying sets for any other AZers and might be thinking just tell Cody to ship
one set to you and then ship the other set to XXXXX who's not even on the list, and several of us were to do that, if it's cool with Cody, that's great. But maybe
we should look to Justin to call the shots on this. He may want to check with Cody, or leaving things as is or try it and see what happens. This was a deal he
brought into fruition and so let's not do anything to upset things in any way.

Just my 2 cents.......throw in another 8 and that's how much a Gold Membership costs per day.
