Wondering if there was a table going or any interesting woofing/side games. Usually there are videos of all the craziness going on.

No pit that I saw.

I played $500 to $1,000 a set, 13 hours a day x 3 days. Still recovering. Best action in the world. My opponent just called tails...and I call heads. No bullshit, no arguments.

How did you end up? $$$
....
Did you see the $2,000 a man tournament?

I didnt try any of the challenge tables mainly due to the lack of them. Only 7 barboxes there this year. No 9 footers. The wait on a 20 dollar challenge table was ridiculous. Needed at least 3 more boxes and a few 9 footers. Plus I heard they shit the place down at 3am on Thursday instead of letting it run all night like normal. Cant really confirm that.

I do like the area where it was setup this year though. I didnt like the small room it was in last year.

They announced the first day that due to multiple events being run at different locations around the USA, SBX was unable to secure all the 7ft tables they wanted so they cut down the tables dedicated for the action room from 16 to 7. The 7 remaining tables were always in use and there were some big crowds around a few of the tables. I saw some good 8ball sets being played on one of the tables on Thursday as there was a huge puerto rican group there in Philly this year and they were stirring it up. Brisbon was playing one of them for a few k bca rules 8ball but I dont know how it turned out.

I heard one night there was a set for $5,000. There were people posting on facebook live about it. Don't know who was playing.

What were they playing, and how were they keeping track of who had next?
Chalk board?

There's a thread on FB with standing room only around the action table. If I see the thread,I'll post it here.

They have cheap white plastic table covers that people maintain lists on.

Team Puerto Rico was on a table in the middle of the row of 7...obliterating at least 3 of them. Crowd was 17 deep.

They closed at 3am several nights which was lame.

7 tables for action. No carpet. No room, between tables despite there being a lot of available room along the wall used.Seemed like an all out assault on the action hounds.

Sounds like a Pinoy pool room

I set up early on either end table with a pile of quarters on the rail. Had to fend off some wiseass who was on multiple $10 lists. Then when the horde made it to the corner of my table I told them, " Vamados Muchachos, vamados!". Strangely they listened.

Some of the biggest action was in the middle of the tournament room. Mart Claltterbuck beat the Russian woman from Roy's Basement. Duodong played somebody.

I'm assuming it was Kristina Tkach? Any idea how much they were betting, just curious what she likes to play for.

I know he won the first convincingly. He's a great player.

Congrats to Phil Davis for winning the open. We have had some very deserving champions the last few years...Mastermaker and Souvanthong are 2 I know well.

Definitely a lot of open space around the action tables.
Roy's basement streamed a couple after hrs. money matches from the BB tournament tables.
