Any places near the Scottsdale Conference Center with a weeknight tournament on a Thursday night?

Pick up a "Table Talk" paper when you get to town and see what tournaments are listed for that night. I think the owner of this web site owns that paper, as well.
To play in most of the rooms you need to be rated so show up early and don't stall. You will get kicked out if you play above your rating. Nobody wants good players to play. The rating system down there is pretty poor. I could go on about it but I think its been done to death on this site already.
Ask Jimmy M. I think he is an east valley resident and could point you in the right direction. If you go to Metro Sports Bar (Peoria AVE and 29 AVE???), they have a Tournament every night. I think its 9 Ball on thursday... 9's and under.
Main Street is pretty good, as mentioned. Or you could just go to SixShooters (35 AVE and Peoria) and rob all the league players. They have huge leagues Sun through Thur and you can easily pick up $20 to $50 short races with the drinking leauge players. Just let them win a game or two so their friends think they have a chance
AZ has great players. Hopefully you will get the chance to play some of them. Have fun

what goes around comes around...maybe the players will spot her and rob HER.
suggestion,,,just enjoy the game instead of thinking about ROBBING someone.
btw, linda,,,,you'll need a car to get anywhere. mesa, az is probably the easiest ride,,,straight down scottsdale rd.
