Any pool players in AK?

I don't live there...but if you're going to Alaska and in the Anchorage area, be sure to check out the Anchorage Billiard Palace. My friend Shawn is the building manager...he plays some...when he can.
 
I always wondered why there weren't a lot of top tier pool players that came out of Alaska. I'm sure there is a lot more to do up there now than when I was there. Nine months of cold weather a year should make for a lot of pool. I guess it's because it's all bars and bar boxes with few poolrooms. Johnnyt
