I'm considering buying one, but after doing some searching on here, I can't seem to find opinions on them. Lots on their tips, but not the cue.

Are they simply not very good, or is no one using one?

All opinions and suggestions are welcome.

I have owned 2 Samsara playing cues. I also have a X-Breaker gereration 3, which was manufactured by Samsara. I think their build quality is excellent. The cues they make are very nice to look at, but also have a solid construction and nice playability. Now granted I had a UniLoc joint on the two players...which is not my favorite for purposes of hit. I still felt they played good.

The X-Breaker had a 5/16-18 piloted joint. This is a super strong joint, and gives an excellent feeling of solidness. Based on the quality of this breaker, I would certainly recommend what Samsara is offering. However I cannot base my recommendation on personal experience of their actual break cue. I should also point out that my experience has been that they provide excellent customer service and were a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Is there anyone who might be able to compare it to some of the other popular options?

Samsara Jump Break Cue

I own one, as do many in our area. I absolutely love the Break cue and it also jumps very well. I have had the opportunity to tour the facility with Jim and it is amazing to see the technology and their work. I still break with his cue and a samsara tip, sometimes switching to the OB break shaft. I purchased a purple heart jump cue made by Marc Oelslager of Billiards on Broadway of Fargo, ND after trying a friends. Nothing jumps like that cue, full stick or broken down. I believe the tip on Marc's, an Odega, is developed by the same person who was instrumental in the making of the Samsara tip.

So if you are looking for a great B/J thumbs up for the Samsara. If you need an awesome jump cue Marc's Purple Heart is amazing.

I use one and love it. When I let my friends break with it they
tend to pop the rack a little harder than normal. It has a really nice feel to it.
I can use a longer bridge with this cue which helps with speed.
It jumps as good as any jb I've ever played with.

Samsara JB-05

I have a JB-05. I have used it a lot in the last 2 years both breaking & jumping. The tip popped off when the cue fell on the hard floor. I was not in any hurry so I sent the shaft back to Samsara for another tip. They called when the shaft was done to let me know it was on the way. Samsara replaced the tip and returned the shaft in about a week and a half at no cost to me.
If you decide on a Samsara I hope you receive the same great service I did.

I have a Gulyassy/Samsara break cue. Mike was having Samsara make the cues to Mike's specs, using Mike's tip/ferrule and shaft taper. I love the cue. It's super solid and beautiful to look at. Samsara craftsmanship is superb.

I don't know what Samsara is offering now for a break cue. My guess is it is basically like mine. If it is, you can't go wrong with it.

I have one and I like it. More than a few champions borrow it quite a bit and love it. I just don't play 9 or 10 ball that much so I don't get to use it enough or I would love it too. I really like the dart jump butt as a bonus. Pretty expensive J/B but it does what it is supposed to do.

I have a Samsara j/b with ebony and leather wrap, it breaks pretty well, the control is good and you can feel the power from your arm going through the cue.
I've also played with stingers and BK2 before, IMO the Samsara cue is better.

Also it jumps with a lot of CB control, I find it easier to draw than other jump cues when jump with the jump handle.
