Does anyone at the ICCS have access to a computer to post updates to this thread? Some pics would be great for those of us who could not attend.

Jamie, I've talked to Matt a few times....some interesting stories for sure. Today is the open to the public part. Hopefully someone will post some 'grand collection' images. Matt was having problem getting his wireless uplink to connect in the hotel....hopefully someone else will be successful. Sounded like eveyone was having a great time. I really hate it that I could not make this one, it being in Houston and all.

I feel like an addict...Cannot get enough!
Love the pictures.
I just need more.

robertno1pool - Thanks for posting these.

Cool Bill. Can't wait to see your pics and those from others.

Wish I could have been there, but I have to admit...there ain't any cue worth more than watching my son score a touch down to help his 5th grade football team complete a perfect 8-0 season last night. Hopefully the playoffs will be just as rewarding.

I hope someone got pics of the entire grand collection and will post them. It would be kinda fun for us all who couldn't go to pick a favorite or vote our own "best of show" from that lineup....

Hey Sean,

Just got back in town from Houston. I have got some pictures, but I have no idea how they will turn out. The lighting in the room wasn't the best for taking pictures.

It was sure a hard choice for people to make a choice from the "Grand Collection". There were so many stunning cues.

Had a great time. To spend time with the likes of Gutierrez, Stroud, Schick etc., etc. was amazing. That is my favorite part of the shows, just to listen to the masters discuss their own personal theories on cue making. (Bill Stroud did a great job organizing everything. People have no idea how much time it takes to put on a show of this caliber)

Had the chance at this show to talk to cuemakers that I never had the pleasure to speak before and they were great guys (Showman, Barenbrugge, Searing, Wayne and Marcus from Arthur cues) Thanks to all of these guys being so approachable.

Alot of super people there that were the collectors: Will Prout, John Gonzales, Ken Kerner, Matt Conerly. (Enjoyed this time also) (Also, thanks to Will for helping me getting my cues to and from the show)

I also had the chance to spend a lot of time with "Lucky" from Japan for the first time. I was amazed at how nice he was. One of the nicest people I have ever met from the cue business. Extremely humble.

Thanks to Richard Black for the hospitality. His home, shop and surrounding property was absolutely beautiful.

And as always, thanks to Bill Grassley for putting up with me. We always have a great time together. Everybody get ready, Bill picked up some absolutely spectacular stuff.

Jimmy

Note: It was announced that the 2008 ICCS show will be held in Kansas City, Mo.

Hey AZer's,

The show was a great success... I have pictures from the show, but all my luggage was lost yesterday coming back to New York.. Hopefully it shows up since my camera was in there also..
It was very hard this year for us to vote for the winners of the cue awards.. There were so many great cues to choose from..
Here are the awards that the collectors voted..

Collectors choice -- went to Mike Bender
Peoples choice award-- went to Richard Black

Best,
Ken Kerner
