i got a junk cue i'm redoing for a friend
junk after what he did to it that is

i intend to clearcoat over the wrap and we all know what a pain that is

had a thought of wrapping linen with 20 minute epoxy to fill all the gaps and crevices there always are
and then maybe hit it with a couple coats of epoxy after that dries

what ya think?????
prolly be a friggin mess!!!!!

Rubbing the epoxy into the wrap before shooting with clear is the way to go. If you don't then the linen can raise up and you have fuzz sticking all out of your clear. What a pain that is. You may just have saved yourself one big headache by asking. :) It has been 20 years since I had that headache and I still hate to think about it.

yeah, i have done that. what i meant was to "kill two birds with one stone", so to speak. was thinking about it some more since i posted, it would be a friggin nightmare pressing the wrap with that epoxy oozing out . so, forget i mentioned it, gonna do it the way i've done it before. standard wrap job, seal with epoxy, then clear. i don't know what i was thinking, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
