So a regular customer of mine just showed up with a really nice C series McDermott. Said it was his great grandpas. His grandmother just gave it to him with a story of him beating fats one time. I told him I'd put a feeler out and see if anyone in our community remembers him.thanks ! Kevin McClain

jay would know him if anybody. he had a poolroom round bakersfield years back.

maybe he would also know what happened to bakersfield bob.

Last I heard Bobby was alive and well in Eloy, AZ. He did real well in the produce fields there and in California running crews for many years.

I don't remember him and it's doubtful he came through Bakersfield, unless he was undercover. I did play a few guys back then whose name I never knew. Just don't remember anyone named Bart, except Bob Ogburn aka Black Bart, a real good player!

Bakersfield Bobby Hernandez?
He was a good friend of the late cue maker Judd Fuller.
Last time I saw him make some sorts of a comeback was more than 20 years ago. Played King Kong on a bar box and they had some argument after King Kong pushed after Bobby pushed out.
Good thing Bobby was a calm dude.
His forearm looked like Popeye's. And Judd told me Bobby never lost a fight in his life.
