i have a copy of Ted Williams on hitting,
I would be glad to give it to a young kid

say 10 years or even 15,16

it is a great read by Ted Williams
The most knowledgeable and best hitter I ever saw

I have decided my playing days are over
at one time I loved baseball,now its been over 40 years since i actually played and not a day goes by that I don't think about it

i have taught a bunch of kids to play,little kids at our school

now I am ready to let go

We all know how a game can obsess us
if its baseball,let me send this to a kid

even a college kid

i have had my last at bat


the book is on the way to a father with an8 year old

I was told that Ted Williams could see the stitches on the ball as it left the pitcher's hand.
 
Funny, I have my 12 year old grandson in a 4 hour baseball camp this morning. Getting him ready for fall ball.
 
There is only one thing Ted liked more than baseball and that was fishing. He played baseball so he could have enough money to go fishing. I was lucky enough to meet him and chat with him once and we talked about fishing for more than half an hour. Great guy!!

wow , I'm also searching baseball this very day.
I trying to find a Louieville Slugger decal for a bat undergoing restoration.
any info would be appreciated. (little league edition)
 
I grew up a few blocks away from Johnny Logan. Us kids would ring the bell and he would come out and talk to us. He had a nice house but baseball money wasn't big bucks back in the day. General Billy Mitchell was a ace fighter pilot. He also had extraordinary vision. So did all the Ace pilots from WWI, WWII, and Korea.

i have one of the bats made for alex rodriquez
his specs and his name stamped

my rag arm neighbor is going to try and srime me out

if he is successful i will be selling this collectible on new condition

35 inches and 34 oz ash wood with skinny handle

on the other hand if i make contact it will no longer be new

he was a college pitcher a few years ago
and i was his age 50 years ago

this will be a fitting "last at bat" for the kid ( of yesterday)
