Anyone bring their own chairs to the pool hall?

Based on player seating I've seen provided at some tounaments, Pros should consider taking their own chairs.

I have never seen anyone bring furniture into a pool hall to use. However, I have seen someone bring in their own large cone of powder in a metal bucket, which I though was the funniest thing I have seen. They did not have their own cues, but by golly they brough in enough hand chalk to supply every pool hall in the state for a year.

playing pool is one of the few times that i have stand for a long time. It is the only exercise i get these days. League players are mostly lazy and there for the comradery.

I would kick that guy out quicker than the chair guys I must say. Here’s a warning, a free glove, and a vacuum to clean up the mess you have caused already. 😜

I carry too much stuff and half wish we’d go back to no break or jump cues so I could have a 1x2 and a piece of chalk. I was prepared to argue against the chairs. I wouldn’t like it if I owned a pool hall. I might consider it if I had a significant physical issue. But generally I don’t want to take my own furniture. And yeah, in the last decade I’ve had a lot of kids’ and high school sports to watch. Have or had some of thise folding stadium seats. The cold and wet factor has to be extremely high for me to want to bring one of those anywhere. Flask is easier. 😇

There are a handful of players in my league that bring their own chairs, and they're always in everyone's way. Can't stand it.

Thanks and I had a feeling that its pretty common. Sorry that they were in your way. Anyways, I'm looking to bring one but I will place in the spot of where a stool would be. I can't sit on stools for too long.

I use to sit down, when I was like 3 years old.

I can’t stand sitting down for any length and a pool hall is one of the few places on earth people won’t try to make me feel bad for standing up or claim im making them nervous. No chair for me

Well so far nobody has brought a chair with them and I think we would put a stop to that real fast.
I wonder if anyone brings their own coffee maker to the pool room.

6:30 pm - “The name’s Coleman. See, says so right on the chair.” “Game you say… well, I normally don’t gamble, but I guess I could. Maybe 1 game? So I can only hit mine in to one pocket? Can I choose which one? Well it sounds fun, but I saw you play and you’re pretty good. Ok if I only sink 4 and still win? You know, just to start out until I get the hang of it… I’m only probably going to play 1 game, anyway.”

3:45 am - Coleman: “alright mf-er. $95,000, and I swear if you air barrel’ed me, I’ve got a tush hog in Atlanta I call body bag. Call your stake horse because I still owe the steer man his jelly roll.”

Yup, Con man Coleman, strikes again.

Think I need to lose some weight?

there was one time when this guy got
stuck with his kids for the day so he brought
a swingset and a slide to the pool room

I'd go for the director's chair, and if I had any tool skills would make a cue holder to fit one of the arms.

I used to slot race and took my own stool to use when racing....old legs and back was the reason.
I don't remember sitting during any races. I won alot of 16D Nascar races, 24hr endurance races, GP 12 GTP and most of the races with a balanced Mura in Nascar. I had the track record on a Hillclimb with a GP 12 1/32 car, 16D Nascar on a kingleman and balanced Mura on two separate King tracks. Those were fun times
