Sounds like You saw that story on the news yesterday LOL.

I'm glad they found that Kid, and that It wasn't him filmed falling from the balloon. That would have been tragic. I'm sure law enforcement wasn't too happy with the resources they wasted though.

BTW Doug, Don't think I've mentioned It yet so I will here, Happy to hear You took care of things. It is true that Somethings are beyond our control,and seemed like You kind of got a raw deal before getting a chance to make good, yet You were stand up, and still did the right thing. Way to be man, piece of mind is a good thing in My book:smile:

I watched the father on the Today show. Talk about covering your azz. A lot of things never added up with this whole thing, esp. with how it got away. There is a vid of them all around it when got away. All yesterday they were saying it just him around the balloon and noone else. lolz, he knows he could be liable for all the expense of them tracking this and such.

I didn't see the interview this morning, but I was thinking the same thing about the liability yesterday, and had mentioned It when watching. There was probably a lot of expense used with all the resources that were out there. It's one of those cases where your happy the kid is alright, but man what a waste. Even if he wouldn't have been suspected missing, I wonder how many resources would have been wasted on UFO reports, because there was a striking resemblance to a flying saucer LOL.
