Anyone else here like to use drag shots?

I use it on a table that rolls off or one I am not sure of. Theres nothing I hate worse than to let the table beat me with a roll off. / Mike Sigel could tell you how many times the cueball would spin in reverse, before it turned over and became forward roll. Pretty impressive.

I like to use it when I need to kill the cue ball off a cushion when I have too much angle on the shot to be able to do so even if I slow roll the ball.
Yup, this is the shot I mostly use drag shots for. I discovered this shot on my own years ago, when I was a pool-fundamentals ignoramus, without knowing it was a thing. Only comes up once in a blue moon.

I am sure the shot has been known about for decades and decades, but supposedly Efren and other Filipinos were the ones to popularize the shot among pro players in the late 1980s or 1990s.

i like to practice drag shots as a stroke drill
feeling going thru the cue ball smooth and looking for no unintentional side spin
Is shooting through it with bottom spin not a push? Cause it kinda of looks like pushing

This weekend I seen Ike do a very slow follow hit that looked a lot like a push shot to me

A push is when the tip contact is prolonged
This is not hitting so slow you can push the cue ball
In 3 cushion they might call it long and penetrating
