Anyone ever hear of this cue????

I know years back they made cheapo production break cues, for less then 150 bucks. Don't recall any $900 cues coming from them
 
Cue looks well made but def dont know.........

Yeah just real curious because overall it looks well made and for an asking price of 900.00 I was like ???? For an unknown production?? I dont think so,,,

I am a member of this forum and been a cue repairman for 30 yrs and have building plain jane to fancy Sneakypete cues for 20 yrs some of the best around. My Prices start at $150.00 to $650.00 depending on ring work>> shafts >>Ferrels>> wraps and so on. Most of my cues are sold local around southwest Indiana and Eastern Ill. I know lots of people and have been playing since 1960. Me and my Family have been involved in several business,s since the 1930ts and have always started with the Name AXE as that is are real last Name I call my cues OLD SCHOOL PETES because I make my cues from ether my splice or some one brings me and old cue to convert I have been colllecting old cues for 40 yrs and have a lot to chose from brunswick>> AE schmit>> Dufferin>> valley>> and so on if anybody is interested in any cue work sent me a PM . I do not know who this company is but would guess of shore on there webb site this is there only cue. DAN AXE
 
bro, dont buy that cue. look at it, it doesnt look like its a custom cue, its one of those cues that is made in large quantities that looks custom
 
It's a kc cue .. i had one long time ago .. about 110 shipped ..
It played ok ...
 
Looks like a SW knock off from the Wan Tai cue company.
For 900, you better get a pool table with that.

And egg rolls for 6.
 
It's a production cue company in Taiwan. It went bankrupt 3 years ago. I used to buy irish linen wraps and melamine ferrules and resell to them. They made a pretty decent SW knock off, probably the best hitting SW knockoffs as far as I know. Certainly it's not worth 900. It's priced at 150~350 depending on the design.

Many Taiwanese players can't afford a genuine SW. Axes is an alternative choice. The cue can fit into the SW shaft perfectly. Sometimes they will buy a SW shaft and match it with an Axes butt.

Btw, the company name is CHUN YANG.

By the photos given, it resembles the TaiWan cues that have previously been sold on AZ for $80-$100 (As I remember?)

These are actually pretty nice hitting cues, most showing some nice woodwork.

My brother bought one with a real nice leather wrap, paid $200 for it and has been very happy with it. $900?? No way!
