added: just got this message from the seller
Howdy Brent. 3600 PSI tensile strength, Shore Index Hardness of 72D. In English, the poly has the structural strength of a telephone handset. It can be sanded, turned in a lathe, cut with any fine tooth saw and run through a CNC mill. Then it can be assembled with any CA, Gorilla Glue, epoxy, and polished very nicely. Send your address and I'll send you some samples to play with.
Best wishes,

IT'S CRAP.
I bought a rod thinking of making trim rings.
I sent it back and told the guy it's nowhere near looking and feeling like ivory.

if a guy wasnt particularly looking for an ivory looking/feeling material, just something white, but not as brilliant white as the ivorine 4, do you still have the same opinion of it?

Too soft and pitty. It has some dark spots.
I have some plastic tubes that are much better but are 1.375 OD with 5/8.
