Got some Kamui chalk from my girlfriend. It's decent but not worth the money. Leaves an awful mess on the white, table and hands. She also got me a new case I'd been hinting at for the last 3 months.
Got 4 tickets to the Snooker World Championships Final this year.... Front row too! Thanks mum.

Early Christmas present was a set of Aramith Tournaments. Saw such a great deal a few months ago, I had to pull the trigger.

I gave my father his first two-piece cue. He has been playing a lot lately, and it is time he got used to one cue.

I gave my nephew a new angled-side triangle that I made for him. Also convinced his mom to get him a cue.

I bought myself a new cue.
A friend gave me a book called "John~E's Little Black Book"
I told him I couldn't read but he said it was mostly pictures :)
 
Roomate got me a set of aramith standards, i in turn ordered a measle CB.

Bought myself a nice gift. I needed it like snail need airbrakes but WTH. Schon H4. These pics are from the supplier I bought it from. The cue is in the mail.

Earlier this year Gail and I went to NYC for one of our annual jaunts to see the sights, eat at some of our favorite restaurants, and see a few Broadway shows. On one afternoon of out visit we were walking through Central Park and she suddenly wanted to veer off to the Upper East Side and she took me to this old building and up a rickety elevator.

The elevator opened up to the entrance to this incredible book store (like something out of a movie), James Cummins, that occupied on the entire sixth floor. And while I perused some magnificent editions concerning fishing for salmon in Scotland, my wife was busy buying me a first edition of "The Hustler."

At the time she said, "Don't get too excited. You don't get this until Christmas."

Now I can be excited :-)
