Anyone heading to Turning Stone this weekend ?
I see Shane don’t make it. I’m still thinking about it. I would drive over on Saturday get a room somewhere nearby got the night. See don’t of Saturday and Sunday. Do any players (after being knocked out) or fans etc go over to Syracuse pool halls and play during the weekend ?
 
I'm going Saturday, LaQuinta still had rooms around 4pm today(I have a dog, only choice I think) very rarely do they go to syracuse unless Brian (SBC on here) sets up a match.

I stayed at the Laquinta a couple years ago it works and it’s close maybe I’ll see you this weekend
 
My girl and I are planning to come up on Saturday. We'll do our usual, watch a round, gamble a bit, watch another round, have lunch, more watching and gambling, a nice dinner, maybe one last round for pool, then back home again.

No...never... Been willing to host action for past few years.

Players just hang at the casino or bolt once they lose. There's no playing on the tables there either, outside of the tournament.

Booked my room I’ll be around Saturday and at least part of Saturday.
I don’t blend in to a crowd I have a bad limp and use a cane if you see me say hello.

That describes the majority of us. Don't pass on a chance to meet sjm, or jasonlaus. Have a great time and report back after.

I will. Have dinner at 5:15 I'll be around before and after, probably sitting next to Stu(SJM)
 
Here. Have met Stu(SJM) so far. Black dress coat and glasses with a black hair girl in a tan coat glasses also
 
I’m here with my girl as well. Craps tables are $25 minimum, so not for me, that means lots more pool.
I have a black north face jacket, white mask and white beard. Girl is also black north face.

Shaw vs Strickland at 8:00pm, should be a good one!
 
Back home this morning. Left just before the 10:00pm matches started. Earl vs Shaw was a good match, glad we got to see that one. Also really impressed with Hunter Lombardo. He is methodical and I watched him spend a few minutes with a young girl asking for his autograph. I think he’s a new fav for me.

Got to meet djoverboard along with jasonlaus and his girl, nice to meet you! Did not see Stu though, the masks do make identifying people a bit more difficult.

Looking forward to the live streams today and the final tonight.
