Anyone had instruction from Nick Varner?

I took the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the Tour when it came to Northern Calif. All i can say it would be well worth it to attend. Mark, Nick and Johnny are all great to talk with, and without a doubt John and Nick are two of the most knowledgeable guys in the game. At 62 i have been up and down the scale i didnt move up any but am more solid where i"m at now. i was well satified with the instructions i took....Nick has probably forgot more about pool then most people will ever know...unbelievable. JUST DO IT..and thanks us all later.:)

Johnny Archer just took down a nice 14.1 tournament, beating SVB and Immonen along the way and he did commentary for the 10 ball finals between Mika and SVB in which he mentioned Nick's great knowledge.

If you click on that thread you can see Archer running 120 balls while discussing the game with Varner. I've got a feeling hanging around with Varner helped Archer's 14.1 game and I believe he would help the average player as well.

This is very strange...

Hey Mowem,

I've read this whole thread and can't for the life of me see how you interpreted Scott's response as "B.S." BTW when the OP started this thread, his "personal experiences" became part of the context don't you think? Even still, nothing I've read should have been interpreted as rude, invasive, or "B.S." Sounds like you were just looking for something.

just an observation

Luxurys personal experiances are none of your bis. he was making a simple comment about Nick's nature that didnt need any B.S. comment from you, Im sure the OP got his point and was happy to know he felt that way about him...

And it was bad grammer not bad spelling I spelled the words right, used the wrong ones thanks for pointing that out I'll be sure to file it correctly. Thats the toilet you hear in the back ground...

Just exactly why do I need to list all the people I have had lessons from.
