I remember someone saying they had a pdf of the shots for the 60min workout. I would also like any other pdfs of any drills and workouts.

Thanks in advance

There were a couple guys on here who have the shots from Bert's video. If no one gets it to you PM me and I'll try to dig something up for you. Accept no substitutes.

I'm curious as well if someone would be so kind as to shoot me a PM. I've just improvised from the video, but I'd like to see exact diagrams.

I bought the video when it originally came out on VHS. I believe part of the exercise was to diagram the shots yourself to help in learning them. I made my own book of diagrams for each shot with notes on the side and still do the exercise today from memory, and I believe that was about 20 years ago. There were 27 shots. I thought #2 was the hardest.

Are they not available through Bert?

If they are, sounds like thievery to me.

It is not thievery to draw shots on paper or wei pool table pdf whatever for yourself or others. To share or to sell. Shots are shots. Do u think if i diagram a cross side bank shot explain it well on video that i now own the concept of cross side banks perhaps even all banks because i explained a bank shot. Please stop all the intellectual ownership bs. If u copy his videos and sell them u r stealing in opinion if u take his ideas draw them out etc add them to your portfolio then the results are yours. Someone said the pro book shots are about the same as the bert k shots why is that. Well drum roll here because they are imprtant shots they occur over and over they need to be mastered. They are not the sole property of bert k or bob h. Or efren or joe schmo. They can be your property and my property we each have to put in the time shots over and over to take possesion of those shots.

If anyone has them in pdf i would like a copy. We should have a dowload section where items could be easily shared on az or somewhere

Not my fault that you have reading issues...

the specific request was: Anyone have a pdf of the shot set-ups for Bert Kinister's 60min workout.

What reading issues. If u watch a video by bert make notes of the shots you can share the notes he does not own the shots. U should not copy the video contents but i could make a diagram of all those shots draw them out and even sell it i would be legal i could make a bert k 60 minute workout notebook draw the shots and there would be no copyright issue maybe i could not use the name or title but u can create content. To extend or enhance work created initially by others. I did the work i drew it i wrote the worksheet notes. I guarentee i could do that with no problems at all if i gave it or shared it no charge. Now if i took screenshots out of the video i would be wrong but to draw shots from video nothing wrong with it. Bert k does not own those shots he sells videos he owns the video that is what he copyrights. If i make a mathbook and have 2+2=4. Someone else can write their own notebook and i cant complain if i see 2+2 in the text they write because it works that is a problem and a result. Drawing ballls on a table is just a pool possibility. Draw them and share them there is no legal issue.

I have several of Bert's videos. He states on the tapes that the setups are available. I emailed him about it. He asked if I bought the tapes from him. I took a picture of the tapes to show they were the official tapes not copies and emailed it back to him. No response. So yes, I feel like I have been ripped off.

I think you are wrong. As you state the issue, it would not be possible to copyright a math textbook...and they certainly are protected.

the individual topic may not be protected, but the portfolio -Bert Kinister's 60min workout- certainly could be.

Course, it is only wrong if you get caught.

Why do you hate Bert?!!?:eek::grin-square:

I dont hate bert i dislike people spreding false information.

Consider the following paragraph from us copyright office. I was looking up fair use. U can find this at http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl102.html

Copyright protects the particular way authors have expressed themselves. It does not extend to any ideas, systems, or factual information conveyed in a work.

So u cannot write out exactly what bert says but u could make a drawing of the shots and distribute them as u wanted. I can go see a movie write a blog totally describe the movie no harm no foul spoillers everywhere legal. It is illegal to create a script all the lines etc and distribute that. It is legal to excerpt short lines like in terminator i'll be back totally legal

So i guess i think you are wrong. Someone can take berts video watch it diagram his shots And distribute it. At least that is my opinion

Forgive the mispellings etc this is via cell phone

You may be right legally, but to me to it stinks a lil.

Bert spent time and money to produce a video to work on a specific part of the game. If someone makes exact copies of all the shots in the video and gives them away on the internet most of the people that receive said copies will not feel the need to buy Bert's video. So yes, it is taking his information and distributing it for free and taking money out of his pocket.

You are way off base. I own many of Bert's videos including the one I am looking for shots for. I have the original vhs and despite what you might have heard it did not come with the shots originally. Also there was no PDF in 1989. More so, by owning the video I can make one myself. I am just trying to save the time if someone already went through the paces.

I agree with everything you said here ^^^. This isn't the first time I've seen this argument on AZ. A guy invests his time and money to make a product and the information is posted in detail within a very short time on the internet for free undercutting the guy with the investment.

The fact that it's not illegal doesn't make it a good decision to give away for free someone else's work.

Bert offers all his videos on demand for a monthly subscription. Invest the $35 for a month and have access to the workout and all 92 videos on demand. If you invest any time at all at the table with the information in his videos you'll make your initial investment back multiple times over.

As always leave it to some whiners on ABZ to take an innocent request & turn it into a multiple page thread. If Bert has an issue with the request, please do not send anything. If not & it is not against the law, people should mind their own business.

What may be an 'innocent request' to you may be literally taking $ out of Bert's pocket.

As for the literal legality of the matter, it would be up to the Courts to decide if the material was presented in a manner that was uniquely fashioned by its producer. I am inclined to believe that a good Attorney woould be able to.

further, I am inclined that Bert would not hire a Lawyer. He'd prob show up at the offender's house an holler at him.
